Los alumnos de los IES Marqués de Comares, Juan de Aréjula y Clara Campoamor secundan la protesta en un 80 por ciento, mientras que en el caso de los docentes el seguimiento ha sido mínimo.
Las aulas de los institutos de toda Andalucía, y en consecuencia también las de los de Lucena se han sumado a la jornada de huelga convocada inicialmente por los sindicatos ANPE, Ustea y CCOO y a la que también se han sumado CGT y el Sindicato de Estudiantes.
En Lucena, el seguimiento ha sido desigual, con cerca del 80 por ciento de los alumnos sumándose a las protestas en los institutos Marqués de Comares, Juan de Aréjula y Clara Campoamor, mientras que en el caso del IES Sierra de Aras, han secundado la huelga el 40 por ciento de los estudiantes, y en el Miguel de Cervantes, el seguimiento ha sido prácticamente totalitario a partir de Tercero de ESO.
En relación a los profesores, la ausencia de los docentes, ha sido más significativa en el Instituto Sierra de Aras, donde han faltado 8 profesores de los 80 con los que cuenta la plantilla, mientras que en el resto de institutos de Lucena sólo han secundado la huelga 1 ó 2 docentes.
Las organizaciones convocantes, reivindican bajada de la ratio en todos los niveles y enseñanzas, mejora de la atención a la diversidad y al alumnado con necesidades especiales, disminución de la carga burocrática, reducción del horario lectivo docente para crear espacios de coordinación y homologar con las condiciones de otras CCAA y terminar con la política de supresión de aulas en la escuela pública.
Junto a la huelga se han convocado también manifestaciones en las ocho capitales de provincia de nuestra región.
