Manos Unidas y la Banda de Música de Lucena organizan una Gala de Copla en el Auditorio

El evento que tendrá lugar este sábado 18 de noviembre reúne a cantantes y músicos locales a favor de un proyecto solidario en Paraguay

El Auditorio Municipal Manuel Lara Cantizani acoge  este sábado la Gran Gala Manos Unidad de Copla Española, un evento musical coordinado técnicamente desde la Banda de Música de Lucena, con la colaboración de cantantes locales y la Escolanía de la Escuela Municipal de Música y Danza.

En la presentación de este evento, el coordinador en Lucena, José Manuel Bujalance, ha querido agradecer la implicación las numerosas personas que harán posible esta actividad, así como del Ayuntamiento a través de las concejalías de Cultura y Servicios Sociales, “colaboración que ha permitido que la recaudación de la gala se destine íntegramente al proyecto de construcción de embalses de agua potable en dos poblados indígenas del centro de Paraguay”.

El elenco de artistas lo componen Araceli Campillos, Valentín Blas & Débora Elena, Aurora Viso y Araceli María Hidalgo, una vez que Antonio Nieto ha confirmado su ausencia por actuar a esa misma hora en el Concurso de Cante Yunque Flamenco en el Palau de la Música de Barcelona para cuya final ha conseguido recientemente su clasificación. Cada una de las cantantes actuará con dos temas antes de la interpretación final del himno de Manos Unidas de Lucena a cargo de los niños y jóvenes de la Escolanía de la Escuela de Música.

 

La teniente de Alcalde del área de Políticas Sociales, Viviendas y Familias, Miriam Ortiz, se ha mostrado segura del éxito de esta actividad por “la solidaridad que Lucena siempre sabe mostrar cuando se le solicita su colaboración”, al tiempo que informaba de la resolución de la convocatoria anual de subvenciones municipales a la Cooperación Internacional, en la que Manos Unidas recibirá 6.350 euros para la financiación de un proyecto educativo en Burkina Faso.

El presidente y director de la Banda de Música de Lucena, Miguel Herrero, explicaba el proceso de adaptación de las canciones elegidas a los arreglos musicales de una agrupación de este tipo y la fase final de ensayos en la que músicos y cantantes se encuentran inmersos, augurando  “un evento que va a gustar mucho, pues la copla es un género que no siempre vemos en directo en Lucena y que cuenta con cantidad de aficionados”.

Herrero recordaba que este tipo de actuaciones a favor de colectivos y oenegés locales forman parte de los estatutos de la banda, tomando Manos Unidas el relevo de la Asociación Española contra el Cáncer, a la que dedicaron su concierto especial del pasado año.
