Ayuntamiento y Real Archicofradía programan este acto como complemento a la difusión turística de Lucena llevada a cabo en Fitur
El Ayuntamiento de Lucena, con la colaboración de la Real Archicofradía de María Santísima de Araceli, llevó a cabo anoche un acto de promoción de las Fiestas Aracelitanas en Madrid como parte de la agenda de difusión de los recursos turísticos desplegada esta semana con motivo de la celebración de Fitur.
En los salones parroquiales de la Iglesia de Santa Cruz, sede canónica de la Hermandad Filial de Nuestra Señora de Araceli en la capital de España, las concejalías de Turismo y Fiestas desarrollaron la presentación del cartel anunciador de las fiestas patronales de Lucena para este 2024, obra del fotógrafo local Juan Pérez Cañete, ante un público formado por cofrades, lucentinos residentes en Madrid y devotos de la patrona lucentina.
Hecha la semblanza de la imagen de las Fiestas Aracelitanas 2024 a cargo de la edil Araceli Rodríguez, el alcalde de Lucena, Aurelio Fernández, y el hermano mayor de la Archicofradía matriz, Rafael Ramírez, desvelaron los principales hitos y fechas de unas fiestas lúdico-religiosas, declaradas de Interés Turístico Nacional, que tradicionalmente se celebran cada primer fin de semana del mes de mayo desde 1563, tras la llegada de la Virgen de Araceli a la Sierra de Aras.
“Hablar de Lucena es hablar de la Virgen de Araceli y sus Fiestas son una parte esencial de nuestras tradiciones, que bien merecen esta innovadora presentación que hemos querido llevar a cabo en la casa en Madrid de la propia virgen”, reconocía el regidor lucentino, quien definía este acto como “el más entrañable de los programados con motivo de la feria internacional de turismo”.
Para el alcalde, “la asistencia a todos los actos de Fitur tiene como objetivo invitar a visitar a Lucena y con este acto personalizamos la invitación para hacerlo durante las Fiestas Aracelitanas, en sus días cumbres, este año del 3 al 6 de mayo”, en unos días donde la ciudad al completo se echa a la calle en torno al programa de actividades diseñado por el Consistorio y la Archicofradía.
El acto en la parroquia de la calle Atocha finalizó con la entrega a los asistentes de una reproducción del cartel anunciador de las Fiestas Aracelitanas y otros objetos y recuerdos aracelitanos. Entre los asistentes, quisieron apoyar con su presencia este evento el hijo predilecto de Lucena Miguel Cuenca Valdivia y el presidente de la Federación de Asociaciones Vecinales, Javier Morales.
