La pequeña localidad gaditana de Alcalá del Valle se convirtió en el epicentro nacional del Hapkido con la celebración del Campeonato de España, evento que se desarrolló en el polideportivo municipal Jesús González Reina y que estuvo organizado por la Federación Española de Artes Marciales Coreanas.
La Escuela de Hapkido Moo Shin Kwan de Lucena acudió a esta cita nacional con una amplia delegación de 26 alumnos dispuestos a dar lo mejor de sí mismos en las modalidades de defensa personal y exhibición.
El nivel de los competidores en este campeonato fue excepcional, lo que demuestra el auge que está experimentando el Hapkido en nuestro país. A pesar de la dura competencia, los deportistas del club de Lucena no se amedrentaron y lucharon con entrega y determinación, cosechando unos resultados excelentes a nivel individual con 8 medallas de oro, 24 de plata y 8 de bronce. Gracias a este balance de medallas, el Moo Shin Kwan se proclamó Subcampeón de España por Equipos.
Este campeonato ha sido una experiencia inolvidable para la escuela de hapkido que además representa el deporte lucentino en campeonatos de máximo nivel como este certamen nacional.
