Un proyecto presupuestado en 300.000 euros y que asumió íntegramente la Diputación de Córdoba.
Los trabajos de construcción de la nueva glorieta en el cruce de la carretera de El Calvario con la antigua N-331, que empezaron a finales del pasado mes mayo, han concluido lo que ha permitido su puesta en servicio a falta de los últimos detalles en cuanto a señalética se refiere.
La nueva glorieta, que ha sido financiada por Diputación Provincial de Córdoba ha contado con un presupuesto de 300.000 euros y dispone de un diámetro de 46 metros y siete ramales de salida. Se trata de una infraestructura de gran envergadura que va a permitir ordenar el tránsito en una de las zonas con mayor intensidad circulatoria del municipio.
Una nueva y necesaria infraestructura que supone importantes avances para Lucena en materia de accesibilidad, movilidad e infraestructuras viarias.
El alcalde de Lucena, Aurelio Fernández recordaba que se trata de una “demanda histórica” por parte de vecinos, trabajadores y empresas de la zona, debido a la alta peligrosidad del cruce al tiempo que subrayaba el esfuerzo conjunto realizado para desbloquear un proyecto que no se ejecutó pese a haber sido planteado con anterioridad.
La diputación asumía íntegramente este proyecto, que ha supuesto un importante reto técnico por el desnivel del terreno y la complejidad del trazado, en el marco del contrato de mantenimiento de la red viaria provincial, cuya ejecución corre a cargo de la empresa Construcciones Pavón.
