La Escuela de Empoderamiento de Lucena inaugura nuevo curso con más de 60 mujeres inscritas

La Concejalía de Igualdad y Diversidad ha dado la bienvenida a las participantes de la séptima edición de este programa municipal dirigido a mejorar el bienestar de las mujeres

El Ayuntamiento de Lucena, a través de la Concejalía de Igualdad y Diversidad, inauguró el pasado martes el curso 2023-2024 de la Escuela de Empoderamiento en el Centro de Formación del Coso, uno de los programas municipales más demandados por sus usuarias, con la asistencia de más de 60 mujeres en su primer día.

“ser constantes en la asistencia a este tipo de sesiones para adquirir herramientas que mejoren su bienestar personal y su calidad de vida”.

La concejala de Igualdad y Diversidad, Irene Aguilera, dio la bienvenida a todas las participantes de este séptimo curso de la Escuela de Empoderamiento, mujeres de todas las edades, muchas participantes de otras ediciones, animándolas a “ser constantes en la asistencia a este tipo de sesiones para adquirir herramientas que mejoren su bienestar personal y su calidad de vida”.

Este proyecto municipal, impulsado en Lucena por el Departamento de Psicología del Centro Municipal de Información a la Mujer (CMIM) y que dirige el psicólogo del mismo, José Oteros, tiene entre sus objetivos dar visibilidad, y recuperar, las historias de tantas mujeres referentes, pasadas y presentes, en distintas disciplinas, silenciadas a lo largo de la historia y cuyas vivencias, logros y luchas han contribuido a eliminar barreras para la igualdad real y efectiva entre hombres y mujeres.

La Escuela de Empoderamiento de Lucena, que fue premiada por la Federación Andaluza de Municipios y Provincias (FAMP) a las Buenas Prácticas en Igualdad, es una de las actividades más consolidadas del Consistorio lucentino, estando contemplada en el Área de Empoderamiento del IV Plan de Igualdad entre Mujeres y Hombres (2021-2024) de Lucena.

Las mujeres interesadas en participar en la Escuela de Empoderamiento, que tendrá lugar todos los martes, hasta el mes de junio, de 10:30 a 12:30 horas, pueden ponerse en contacto con el Centro Municipal de Información a la Mujer, ubicado en calle Canalejas, 22 – 2ª planta, a través del teléfono 957 59 02 25 o por medio del correo electrónico cim@aytolucena.es
