El sector del mueble ha crecido cerca de un 7 por ciento en los últimos dos años

La asociación de empresarios de la madera y el mueble de Córdoba (UNIEMA) y la fundación pública Andalucía Emprende han abordado las oportunidades de negocio derivadas de la internacionalización del sector en una jornada técnica que se ha desarrollado en Lucena con la presencia de responsables de diferentes empresas locales.

La sesión de trabajo se ha articulado en torno a una ronda de presentaciones de los servicios que se ofertan desde Extenda e ICEX-Andalucía, organismos dependientes de la Junta de Andalucía y el Gobierno de España con responsabilidad en el externalización de la actividad empresarial como servicios de asesoría especializada. La presentación de la entidad International Consulting & Trading completó el programa de la jornada.

Durante la apertura de esta jornada, el alcalde de Lucena, Juan Pérez, ha subrayado “la idoneidad” de este tipo de convocatorias diseñadas “para impulsar un sector de la madera que hace bien en buscar la consolidación de su recuperación en los mercados exteriores”, a los que de be acudir, en opinión del regidor lucentino con “un modelo de negocio sustentado en tres pilares: innovación, calidad y creatividad”.

Este encuentro formativo para empresarios lucentinos del mueble y la madera se contextualiza en un marco de “desaceleración económica en la segunda parte de este año que sigue a un primer semestre de avance importante”, como lo ha definido el presidente de UNIEMA, Enrique Fernández, quien ha apuntado a un crecimiento del sector en torno al 6-7% cada anualidad en los dos últimos años y con unas cifras de ventas en el exterior que rondan los 500 millones de euros anuales a nivel andaluz.

El sector de la madera andaluz afronta los últimos meses del año con el reto de ver aprobado “en breve” el Plan Renove del Mueble tras dos años de trabajo entre ACEMA y la Consejería de Empleo, Empresa y Comercio. En este sentido, Enrique Fernández ha asegurado que “el Plan Renove del Mueble será una realidad y responde a una redacción de las necesidades propias de Andalucía”, por lo que ha asegurado que supondrá “un elemento de incentivo al consumo de muebles” en un país donde más se tarda de Europa en cambiar los muebles”. Toda la información analizada en esta jornada técnica queda a disposición de los empresarios en la sede del CADE de Lucena, sito en la calle Veracruz.
