El PP denuncia el recorte de la seguridad en Lucena con una sola patrulla de Policía Local en moto frente a las dos que existían hasta ahora

El portavoz del Partido Popular en el Ayuntamiento de Lucena ,  Francis Aguilar, denunciaba la propuesta del concejal delegado de Seguridad Ciudadana, José Pedro Moreno, que ha salido adelante con el apoyo de Vox,  “para un nuevo  recorte de la seguridad en Lucena”. Dicha propuesta, según Aguilar establece fijar una sola patrulla en moto, con dos agentes de Policía Local diariamente en nuestra ciudad, frente a las dos patrullas que existían hasta ahora.

Además, durante los meses de julio y agosto también se eliminará el refuerzo de una patrulla que se establecía todos los miércoles con motivo del Mercadillo. Desde el PP, denuncian este nuevo recorte, indicó, y el apoyo de VOX, cuando solicitaban hace unos meses el incremento de la seguridad en la ciudad.

Esta medida se abordó en la Mesa de Negociación del Ayuntamiento y según Aguilar supone un recorte histórico en la seguridad en Lucena.

Francis Aguilar indicaba que los ciudadanos deben conocer la puesta en marcha de la políticas de recorte en seguridad pública por parte del equipo de gobierno, que ya han suprimido por seguridad privada tanto los vigilantes del Ayuntamiento como del Mercadillo.

Desde el PP reconocen la magnífica labor de las fuerzas y cuerpos de seguridad del Estado así como de la Policía Local de Lucena a pesar de los recortes. Aguilar, indicó que actualmente la plantilla de efectivos municipales cuenta con 68 integrantes, frente a los 74 de enero de 2019. El portavoz del Partido Popular indicaba que para finales de año está prevista la jubilación de 3 agentes más, por lo que terminaremos 2021 con una plantilla de tan sólo 65 efectivos en la Jefatura lucentina.
