El piloto de Lucena Rafael Gallardo se impone en la primera prueba del Campeonato de España de Autocross 2021

Después de mucha incertidumbre debido a la pandemia, la Real Federación Española de Automovilismo ha dado luz verde para que arranque el Campeonato de España de Autocross 2021, un certamen que este año está compuesto por seis carreras; Lérida, Esplús (Huesca), Cerro Negro (Toledo), Carballo y Arteixo (La Coruña) y Miranda de Ebro (Burgos).

En la primera prueba de este año se dieron cita en el Circuito de Lérida un total de 96 pilotos. El vigente campeón de la División 2 del Campeonato de España de Autocross, Rafael Gallardo, conseguía su cuarta victoria en la categoría después de las alcanzadas en Esplús 2017, Cerro Negro 2019 y Ara Lleida 2020. El piloto de Lucena fue, además, el único participante de las seis categorías que ganó todas las mangas en las que participó, incluida la de calificación en la que marcó el mejor crono.

Por su parte, el veterano Tomás Aranda también estuvo a la altura en esta primera cita aunque tuvo diversos problemas mecánicos. En la final de la División 1, el piloto lucentino demostró su carisma ganado la carrera aunque cometió un error en la salida y fue penalizado con tres puestos acabando en la cuarta posición. La próxima cita para los pilotos lucentinos será el fin de semana del 1 y 2 de mayo en la localidad oscense de Esplús con la segunda prueba del Campeonato de España de Autocross.
