El Partido Popular denuncia el abandono de la antigua estación de Renfe

El grupo municipal incluye esta situación en la ‘falta de planificación’ para la gestión del extrarradio lucentino.

El grupo municipal del Partido Popular de Lucena ha querido poner de manifiesto ante la opinión pública el estado de abandono en el que se encuentra la zona de la antigua estación de Renfe en el comienzo de la Vía Verde a su paso por Lucena.

El estado de degradación y abandono es palpable de esta zona tan transitada por lucentinos y por los amantes de la naturaleza.

Recientemente en esta misma zona, el equipo de gobierno del ayuntamiento de Lucena anunció la construcción de un nuevo parque de unos 47.000 metros cuadrados que estaría ubicado en la zona de los merenderos de la antigua estación de RENFE con un presupuesto aproximado de dos millones de euros que serían financiados a través de los fondos europeos EDUSI y con fondos propios municipales y además se anunció que la licitación de este concurso saldría a primeros del pasado mes de agosto.

Dicho esto, el grupo municipal del Partido Popular quiere denunciar e informar a la opinión pública que a fecha de hoy, 19 de Octubre, todavía no se ha sacado el concurso de este proyecto y además se preguntan ‘¿cómo piensa el Equipo de Gobierno (PSOE) mantener esta costosa infraestructura cuando las actuales están totalmente abandonadas como es el caso de esta misma zona que se quiere utilizar para este Parque?’

La situación de los barrios y el extrarradio de Lucena es lamentable, como ya este partido ha denunciado en numerosas ocasiones, Parque Sierra Nevada, Quiebracarretas, Paseo de Rojas, Calzada, Jardín Lucena, Dehesa de la Villa, etc son ejemplo claro de la falta de planificación de este gobierno municipal que gestiona a base de denuncias de los vecinos y de la oposición.
