El joven lucentino Sergio Camargo consigue el Premio Extraordinario fin de estudios de la Universidad de Sevilla

Camargo logró el tercer mejor expediente del Grado en Ingeniería Aeroespacial

Trabajo, constancia y pasión por lo que se hace. Ese ha sido el recorrido académico y ahora laboral, de un joven de Lucena de tan sólo 27 años, Sergio Camargo Navajas.

Sergio, estudió en el Instituto Marqués de Comares donde ya finalizó el Bachillerato con Matrícula de Honor. Posteriormente, realizó el Grado en Ingeniería Aeroespacial por la Universidad de Sevilla, siendo el tercero de su promoción, lo que le ha valido el Premio Extraordinario fin de estudios a los mejores expedientes del año académico.

Siempre con ganas de seguir aprendiendo en un ámbito que le apasiona, realizó un Máster en Ingeniería Aeronáutica, con Premio Extraordinario fin de estudios y viajó a Milán para llevar a cabo  en el Instituto Politécnico de esta ciudad italiana un Máster en Ingeniería que concluyó con la calificación de Matrícula de Honor.

Actualmente, Sergio  trabaja en Madrid en la empresa GMV, una de las más pioneras e importantes desarrolladores de tecnología espacial de Europa.  Allí están desarrollando  sistemas de posicionamiento por satélite aplicado a distintos campos, desde vehículos de conducción autónoma hasta misiones espaciales con la Agencia Espacial Europea. A finales de este año lanzarán un satélite englobado en la misión LEOPNT de la ESA.

Un trabajo de superación constante y siempre buscando la excelencia que nos deparará, estamos seguros, nuevas e interesantes noticias sobre la  trayectoria laboral y académica de este joven lucentino.
