El Hospital Infanta Margarita de Cabra registra un total de 44 ingresos por coronavirus

Según ha podido saber Videoluc Tv el Hospital Infanta Margarita de Cabra registra a día de hoy un total de 44 personas ingresadas a consecuencia del coronavirus. De estas, 7 permanecen en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos y el resto, 37, están distribuidos en distintas plantas del centro hospitalario, en concreto entre la séptima y la sexta si bien en las últimas horas se ha habilitado también la planta quinta. Hace una semana las cifras revelaban un total de 11 personas ingresadas, 4 en UCI y 7 en planta.

No obstante, las instalaciones del Hospital Infanta Margarita de Cabra, de referencia para el Área de Gestión Sanitaria Sur de Córdoba, se encuentran adaptadas y preparadas para dar respuesta a las consecuencias de la emergencia sanitaria provocada por la expansión del coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 en nuestro territorio.

Así, las principales medidas que recoge el plan de contingencia puesto en marcha en el hospital para frenar el impacto sanitario que podría causar el coronavirus son la adaptación de espacios para posibles refuerzos de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos -UCI-, que es la encargada de atender los casos más graves provocados por el virus, y que en un hipotético episodio de alta frecuentación se ampliaría a la Unidad de Observación, que anteriormente estaba destinada a ese uso

“En estos momentos tanto el hospital como los centros de salud de toda el Área están funcionando de acuerdo a lo establecido en el plan de contingencia”, asegura el director-gerente del Área de Gestión Sanitaria Sur de Córdoba, José Plata Rosales, quien ha puesto de relieve que “el encomiable trabajo que están llevando a cabo los profesionales de toda el Área, que son los verdaderos artífices de la lucha contra el virus prestando un servicio impecable, entregado y valiente”.
