El deportista lucentino de élite Cristóbal García Guillén consigue el tercer puesto individual en el Campeonato de España de Duatlón

Dos semanas después de subir al podium de la Media Maratón Ciudad de Lucena, el deportista lucentino de élite Cristóbal García Guillén volvió a su disciplina favorita, el duatlón, donde ha vuelto a demostrar que se encuentra entre los mejores duatletas de nuestro país.

El excelente deportista de Lucena ha conseguido la tercera posición general individual en el Campeonato de España de Duatlón por Clubes Playas de Punta Umbría. Además, su club el Montilla-Córdoba Triatlón también logró, por tercer año consecutivo, subir al tercer puesto del podium por equipos en la prueba élite para Clubes de 1ª División Masculina. Completaron el trio de ganadores el AD Sevilla, que fue segundo, y el Club Marlins Triatlón de Madrid que consiguió la primera posición.

El conjunto montillano estaba compuesto por los duatletas Pedro Ramos, Sergio Fernández, Raúl Espejo, Alberto Rubio, Ismael Rojas, Rafael Ángel Gómez, Sergio Espejo, Biel Ramírez, Pablo Navarro y Cristóbal García, siendo el lucentino el mejor de su equipo al llegar a la línea de meta con un tiempo de 53 minutos y 30 segundos.

El duatleta de Lucena sólo fue superado por el madrileño Javier Martín del Club Marlins Triatlón de Madrid (53:20), que fue segundo, y el catalán Genis Grau del Prat Triatlón 1994 (53:15) que se proclamó campeón de España.
