El dinero se destinará a la investigación del cáncer infantil
El Colegio El Prado ha recaudado 500 euros con la venta entre las familias del centro de pañuelos amarillos que simbolizan la lucha contra el cáncer infantil. Esta cantidad ha sido donada a la Junta Local de la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer. El objetivo de la actividad, según la directora del centro, María José Lara, es el de simbolizar y visibilizar esta enfermedad y contribuir en que cuente con mayores recursos económicos para la investigación y la ayuda a las familias.
La presidenta de la Asamblea Local de la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer, Araceli Chicano, daba las gracias a los padres y alumnos que han contribuido con esta importante aportación. Además recordaba la labor didáctica que se realiza desde la asociación y la marcha contra el cáncer infantil que culminará mañana viernes a las diez y media de la mañana en la Plaza Nueva.
Tras la entrega de la recaudación, desde la Asamblea Local de la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer impartían una charla a los alumnos sobre esta enfermedad.
