El ayuntamiento solicitará a la Junta que asuma las obras de renovación de la conducción de agua potable desde Zambra

El Pleno celebrado este martes ha acordado solicitar a la Junta de Andalucía que asuma las obras de renovación de la conducción de agua potable desde Zambra con cargo al canon autonómico del agua, que se instauró para pagar obras de infraestructura hidráulica de interés de la Comunidad Autónoma. De modo que es necesario, primero que se declare esta obra de interés de la Comunidad Autónoma y después podrá asumir su coste la Junta de Andalucía.

Conviene recordar que en el pleno de abril, el Pleno ya se pronunció a favor de solicitar a la Junta la autorización para establecer un canon municipal que permitiera afrontar la financiación de las obras de renovación de la conducción, de unos 22 kilómetros presupuestadas en 7.236.402 euros, IVA incluido.

En caso de que la Junta de Andalucía asumiera la financiación de esta obra, o bien el Ayuntamiento renunciaría al canon municipal de agua, previsto según se aprobó en abril para 7 años (tiempo de amortización del crédito bancario necesario para pagar las obras) o bien se reorientaría para pagar otras obras de mejora de la red de suministro.
