El Ayuntamiento de Lucena reparte 4.500 mascarillas en la ciudad

El Ayuntamiento de Lucena ha distribuido un total de 4.500 mascarillas entre la población local desde la declaración de la emergencia sanitara y la entrada en vigor del estado de alarma como consecuencia de la pandemia de coronavirus.

Según las cifras ofrecidas por el concejal de Seguridad Ciudadana, José Pedro Moreno, la semana pasada el Consistorio lucentino entregó en un primer reparto alrededor de 2.000 mascarillas de protección personal a efectivos de Policía Local y trabajadores municipales adscritos al plan especial de limpieza y desinfección de Servicios Operativos, a los que se les dotó de un EPI completo, además de atender las peticiones de mascarillas efectuadas por los centros de salud de la ciudad, la Comisaría de Policía Nacional Lucena-Cabra y las residencias de personas mayores. Em esos primeros días, el Ayuntamiento también puso a disposición de las empresas de ayuda a domicilio y gestión del aparcamiento subterráneo de la plaza Nueva las mascarillas suficientes para proteger a la totalidad de su plantilla profesional.

Hoy martes, ha comenzado un segundo reparto de 2.500 mascarillas (de un lote mayor de 4.000 recibido ayer, junto a 8.000 guantes) tanto en Lucena como en las aldeas de Jauja y las Navas. En este segundo lote, desde la Concejalía de Servicios Sociales y Salud se ha efectuado una nueva entrega a las residencias de personas mayores, comedor social y empresa de ayuda a domicilio, mientras que Protección Civil ha acudido a supermercados para proporcionar mascarillas a los clientes. Se trata, en su mayor parte, de mascarillas de un único uso destinadas a romper el circuito de contagio del Covid-19.

Asimismo, Protección Civil está coordinando la recogida de mascarillas tipo FFP2 y FFP3, batas desechables, respiradores y otros materiales de protección personal, entre las empresas de Lucena que puedan aportar este material, para ponerlas a disposición del Hospital Infanta Margarita de Cabra. Está previsto que mañana miércoles se entregue el primer acopio de material gracias a estas donaciones de particulares.
