El Ayuntamiento de Lucena concede 650 prestaciones sociales durante los dos meses del estado de alarma

El Ayuntamiento de Lucena ha rebasado las 650 prestaciones sociales aprobadas desde la entrada en vigor del estado de alarma para paliar las consecuencias económicas derivadas por la pandemia de covid-19 entre las familias de mayor vulnerabilidad de la localidad.

La concejal de Servicios Sociales y Salud, Carmen Gallardo, ha aprovechado que se cumplen dos meses de las medidas de confinamiento y restricciones de movilidad derivadas de la crisis sanitaria para hacer balance de la gestión de esta área municipal, que ha implementado en un 400% las atenciones ciudadanas al recibir durante este periodo unas 6.000 consultas de información a través de los teléfonos, whastApp y correo electrónico atendidos por el personal de la concejalía.

Gallardo ha señalado que la respuesta que el Ayuntamiento de Lucena viene ofreciendo a las necesidades sociales de la población se articula en torno al Reglamento de emergencia económica, aprobado en Pleno, con seis tipologías de ayudas diferentes y con un límite de 1.900 euros al año por unidad familiar.

Hasta el momento, Servicios Sociales ha empleado en torno a 140.000 euros en estas ayudas de emergencia social a través de entregas directas a familias beneficiarias, a lo que hay que sumar los 25.000 euros aportados desde la tesorería municipal al Comedor Social y Cáritas, y los 20.000 empleados en la adquisición de tablet con conexión a internet para su distribución entre 115 escolares del municipio para su incorporación a las clases telemáticas.

El incremento de la demanda de ayuda social ha obligado al Consistorio a ampliar los recursos económicos de la Concejalía de Servicios Sociales, dotada inicialmente en el presupuesto vigente este año con 120.000 euros para prestaciones sociales de emergencia. La aportación de nuevo crédito supera los 520.000 euros, de los cuales 381.000 euros proceden de otras partidas municipales y 147.00 euros del Fondo Social Extraordinario asignado por el Gobierno y la Junta de Andalucía.

La Concejalía de Servicios Sociales ha habilitado dos nuevas vías de contacto para atender a los usuarios que requieran información sobre las prestaciones sociales municipales: al teléfono fijo 957 513 044 se le une el teléfono móvil 628 348 582 (atiende WhatsApp) y mail: citasocial@aytolucena.es.
