El Área de Gestión Sanitaria Sur de Córdoba se reúne con la Comisión de Participación Ciudadana para consensuar próximas acciones

El Área de Gestión Sanitaria Sur de Córdoba ha celebrado una nueva reunión de la Comisión de Participación Ciudadana con el objetivo de marcar las líneas de trabajo en este ámbito de actuación. En este encuentro entre profesionales del centro sanitario y representantes del tejido social, se evaluaron las acciones desarrolladas durante el pasado 2018 y se dieron a conocer las propuestas de acción que se llevarán a cabo a lo largo de este ejercicio.

 Como todos los años, el Área Sanitaria crece en participación exponiendo los proyectos planteados por las distintas asociaciones y representantes ciudadanos y priorizando de cara a su ejecución durante el año. En la primera parte de esta reunión, y después de la presentación del equipo directivo del Área de Gestión Sanitaria Sur de Córdoba, se ofreció un resumen de la actividad realizada en este ámbito durante 2018 y se analizaron los resultados alcanzados en las cuatro áreas de intervención que configuran el Plan de Participación Ciudadana: información a la ciudadanía, consulta y colaboración ciudadana, educación y promoción de la salud y mejora de la satisfacción. En la segunda parte de este encuentro se procedió a dar a conocer las líneas estratégicas de acción para el presente año, y las personas que representan al tejido social en la Comisión, aportaron proyectos e ideas para desarrollar.

La participación ciudadana en el ámbito de la salud permite el desarrollo de estrategias de fomento del autocuidado y un mayor poder de decisión de las personas sobre su proceso de salud, también facilita las sinergias con otras instituciones y colectivos a través de espacios compartidos de participación, así como el desarrollo de acciones que tienen como objetivo mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas a través del fomento de estilos de vida saludables. Además, el conocimiento de las necesidades y expectativas de la ciudadanía se constituye como una fuente de identificación de oportunidad de mejora de la calidad del sistema sanitario y de la satisfacción de las personas que hacen uso de este.  La celebración de este tipo de encuentros promueve, por tanto, la participación de la ciudadanía en el ámbito de la salud, desde una perspectiva amplia e integradora, tal y como establecen las directrices marcadas por el Plan Andaluz de Salud y el Sistema Sanitario Público de Andalucía (SSPA).
