La Delegación de Igualdad de la Diputación de Córdoba trae a Lucena una iniciativa para concienciar sobre la problemática de la trata

Este proyecto se enmarca en el VI Plan de Igualdad de Oportunidades de Mujeres y Hombres 2022-2023 y se pone en marcha en colaboración con Nuevo Hogar Betania

La delegada de Igualdad, Irene Aguilera ha presentado el proyecto ‘La trata es violación. No formes parte de la trata’, iniciativa que se incluye en el VI Plan de Igualdad de Oportunidades de Mujeres y Hombres 2022-2025 de la Diputación de Córdoba.

En relación con esta propuesta, Aguilera ha señalado que “su finalidad es la de sensibilizar y concienciar a la ciudadanía para dar a conocer la realidad sobre la trata con fines de explotación sexual y aumentar la conciencia en la población de los municipios de nuestra provincia sobre la grave vulneración de derechos que supone, así como de prevenir su existencia”.

El proyecto incluye una ruta por los pueblos de la provincia en la que se realizarán paradas de sensibilización, durante las cuales se recreará en el interior de una furgoneta el ambiente de un ‘club’ con luces de neón y oscuridad, mientras que en las paredes quedarán expuestos testimonios de víctimas de explotación sexual, datos estadísticos y noticias relacionadas.

Mar Carreño, trabajadora social de Nuevo Hogar Betania, ha hecho referencia a que “los datos de la Organización Internacional del Trabajo ponen de manifiesto que 4,8 millones de personas son víctimas de explotación sexual forzosa en el mundo, el 99% mujeres y niñas”. Andalucía, en concreto, es una de las mayores comunidades de tránsito y destino de trata de personas, siendo las principales víctimas mujeres de entre 18 y 25 años provenientes de países como Rumanía, Nigeria, China y Bulgaria.

Las paradas están programadas en espacios cercanos a Institutos de Educación Secundaria para que los más jóvenes puedan conocer lo que implica la trata. En el caso de Lucena han participado alumnos de los IES Sierra de Aras, Clara Campoamor y Juan de Aréjula
