El centro de pernocta para trabajadores temporeros acoge a 16 personas en esta campaña de recogida de aceituna

La concejal delgada de Servicios Sociales del Ayuntamiento de Lucena, Irene Aguilera, explicaba que el centro de pernocta para trabajadores temporeros ha tenido muy buena acogida. En la actualidad, las 16 literas con las que cuenta las instalaciones, ubicadas en el Complejo Educativo de Los Santos, están completas, por lo que se está valorando incluso la posibilidad de instalar algunas más.

Según explicaba Aguilera, el centro cuenta con las comodidades de un hogar. Los trabajadores que han llegado para la campaña de la aceituna, acuden a las instalaciones alrededor de las ocho de la tarde, una vez que se han aseado en las dependencias ubicadas en los locales de la Plaza de Toros, y permanecen en este recinto hasta las seis y media de la mañana, cuando inician una nueva jornada de trabajo.
