Diego Tirado y Silvia Lara se imponen en la Carrera Popular Ciudad de Lucena por la Igualdad

1.645 corredores participan en esta prueba que alcanza su XXIV Edición

Lucena se volcaba  de nuevo con su principal cita de atletismo popular, que en número total de inscritos mantuvo  el récord de participación con los 1.645 corredores que se dieron cita ayer domingo para formar parte de la fiesta de la XXIV Carrera Popular Ciudad de Lucena por la Igualdad, organizada por el Servicio Deportivo Municipal (SDM).

Incluida en el calendario provincial de carreras populares, la prueba reina abría a primera hora de la mañana el programa de competiciones reuniendo a 410 atletas en la línea de salida de una carrera donde el Surco Atletismo, con el apoyo del Club Hermes Gym, se estrenaba en la coordinación técnica de la mano del SDM.

Tras esta prueba, la pista de atletismo de la Ciudad Deportiva ha ido cediendo en protagonismo a las categorías inferiores, con carreras desde sub 18 hasta sub 6, completando el listado de participantes que se había cerrado por encima de los 1.600 corredores, gracias al apoyo de los centros educativos de la localidad, que de nuevo se han volcado con el Ayuntamiento lucentino para cumplir un domingo excelente de deporte.

El concejal delegado de Deportes, Ángel Novillo, destacaba la organización y la alta participación de corredores.

En la categoría general, el primer clasificado fue Diego Tirado del Club Cabra Running con un tiempo de 32 minutos y 40 segundos. Le acompañaron en el pódium, el lucentino Antonio Montero y Jesús Alguacil, ambos del Club Trotasierra.

En el apartado femenino, la ganadora fue Silvia Lara, del Club Nerja Atletismo y un tiempo de 38 minutos y 37 segundos. Lola Chiclana conseguía el segundo puesto en féminas e Inmaculada Tolero, el tercero.

Los flamantes ganadores hacían su valoración personal de la prueba.

El resumen completo de la carrera lo podrán ver mañana martes a partir de las 10 de la noche por Videoluc Televisión.
