En la tarde del domingo 12 de noviembre tuvo lugar el rito de la apertura de la Puerta Santa en el templo de San Pedro Mártir de Verona, sede de la Venerable Archicofradía de Ntro. Padre Jesús Nazareno con motivo de la celebración del año jubilar que la Santa Sede concede a tan venerable y por más de cuatro veces centenaria hermandad de Jesús Nazareno, en la celebración de su 425 aniversario fundacional.
El Señor Obispo de Córdoba llegaba a la capilla de Dios Padre, sede de la Hermandad de la Santa Fe, sita en la calle de El Agua para, tras el rezo de una oración ante la presencia de todas las hermandades lucentinas, la corporación municipal y otras representaciones institucionales de la ciudad, así como la representación de la venerable archicofradía de Ntro. Padre Jesús Nazareno, iniciar la procesión a través de las calles Navas y Curados hasta la puerta principal del templo de San Pedro Mártir, sito en la calle del mismo nombre, donde tuvo lugar el acto de apertura de la puerta santa para, posteriormente celebrar una eucaristía presidida por el señor obispo de la Diócesis.
