Ayuntamiento y Club Maratón Lucena fomentan el atletismo femenino en horarios conciliadores

El Ayuntamiento de Lucena y el Club Maratón Lucena han suscrito con la firma del alcalde Juan Pérez y el presidente de la entidad deportiva, Pedro Díaz, un nuevo convenio de colaboración para el fomento del atletismo de las mujeres en condiciones compatibles de conciliación de la vida laboral y familiar.

Este acuerdo impulsado desde el Servicio Municipal de Deportes nace al calor del programa Movimiento Running Mujer del proyecto Escuela de Base y Tecnificación del Club Maratón Lucena, una iniciativa que desde hace años dirige el club lucentino con el objetivo de promover la igualdad de oportunidades de mujeres y hombres en el deporte.

El Club Maratón Lucena, que contabiliza más de 60 socias en su estructura deportiva, defiende este convenio de colaboración como una herramienta para facilitar el desarrollo personal y social de las mujeres a través de la práctica del atletismo mediante unas rutinas de entrenamiento y aprendizaje llevadas a cabo en horarios conciliadores con la vida laboral y familiar de las deportistas.

Este acuerdo conlleva una prestación económica anual por parte del Consistorio de 4.000 euros y es susceptible de prorrogarse en próximas anualidades. Además, el Servicio Municipal de Deportes colabora con este programa deportivo cediendo las instalaciones municipales de la ciudad deportiva para las sesiones de trabajo.
