El cantaor lucentino también consiguió la semana pasada el segundo premio en el Concurso de los cantes Malagueños de Málaga
El pasado sábado 26 de julio se celebraba la final del 49º Concurso Internacional de Cante por Peteneras en Paterna de Rivera, con la asistencia de más de 2.500 personas.
El gran protagonista de la noche, según señala La Voz del Sur, fue el lucentino Antonio Nieto, que se alzó con el primer premio de cante por Peteneras, el prestigioso galardón conocido como Perro de Paterna, que recibió de manos del alcalde de la localidad, Andrés Clavijo.
El Ecijano, conseguía el segundo premio. Además se concedieron dos premios a cante libre que fueron a parar al Niño de la Cava y Rufino de Paterna.
Manuel Cuevas Hijo consiguió el tercer premio, y Regina, de Rociana del Condado obtuvo la cuarta posición.
Además, la semana pasada, Antonio Nieto conseguía también el segundo premio en el Concurso de los cantes Malagueños de la capital de la Costa del Sol. Este certamen está organizado por la Peña Flamenca Juan Breva. Antonio Nieto estuvo acompañado a la guitarra por Ángel Mata.
