AMARA acoge un acto de reconocimiento al voluntariado de la comarca

Las instalaciones del centro de ocio y tiempo libre de AMARA, ha acogido un acto de reconocimiento al voluntariado de la comarca. Esta actividad la organiza la Plataforma del Voluntariado de Córdoba, en colaboración con Amara, la Fundación Acuarela de Barrios y la delegación de Participación Ciudadana del Ayuntamiento de Lucena.

Es la primera vez que se organiza en Lucena una actividad de reconocimiento a las personas voluntarias. Coincidiendo con el Día del Voluntariado, que se celebra hoy 5 de diciembre, la Plataforma del Voluntariado apuesta por llevar los actos de celebración y homenaje al voluntariado a diferentes municipios de la provincia, dando así valor y reconocimiento al voluntariado que se ejerce en las distintas asociaciones y fundaciones que se sitúan en diferentes municipios de Córdoba. De la importancia del voluntariado y de este tipo de actos hablaba la presidenta de la Plataforma de Córdoba, Pilar Pineda.

Tras la bienvenida a las personas participantes, las entidades asistentes tomaron la palabra para exponer aspectos positivos de su voluntariado. A continuación se entregó  un agradecimiento a 41 personas voluntarias por la labor, invisible y callada, que realizan cada día.

Han participado  un total de 8 entidades: Amara, Fundación Acuarela de Barrios, Proyecto Hombre, Infancia Solidaria, Afa Nuestros Ángeles, Lucena Acoge, Albasur (asociación de Priego de Córdoba) y Disgenil (entidad de Puente Genil).

La Plataforma del Voluntariado de Córdoba celebra todos los años el Día del Voluntariado, para lo que  este año han elegido el lema “El Voluntariado Deja Huella”, tanto en las personas que lo realizan, como en las personas que reciben la ayuda del voluntariado y las propias entidades donde estas personas colaboran.
