El Consejo de Aguas de Lucena elimina los cortes de abastecimiento y convierte en recomendación algunas prohibiciones actuales

El Consejo de Administración de Aguas de Lucena, reunido el 16 y 20 de mayo ha acordado distintas medidas que presentaban conjuntamente el alcalde, Aurelio Fernández y la consejera delegada de Aguas, María de la O Redondo.

El primer edil lucentino destacaba que se ha acordado eliminar cualquier tipo de restricción en la bajada de la presión nocturna, hasta que el Consejo decida una nueva modificación.

No obstante, indicó, no podemos olvidar que la situación de sequía sigue siendo preocupante y que el pantano de Iznájar ha pasado de la situación de emergencia a alerta.

También se han tornado en recomendaciones las prohibiciones que entraron en vigor en julio del año pasado y que se centran en la necesidad  de evitar la limpieza de aceras y puertas, junto con el lavado de vehículos en la vía pública y la recomendación de que se mantenga el agua de las piscinas privadas durante todo el año.

El alcalde de Lucena explicaba que desde el ayuntamiento se procederá al riego de parques y jardines y el baldeo de calles con agua no apta para el consumo y se continuará con la campaña de detección de fugas. El objetivo, según Fernández, es poder seguir realizando un consumo razonable y responsable de agua.

El alcalde de Lucena, expresaba el deseo del equipo de gobierno de que  se mantenga esta situación  y no se tenga que proceder a cortes en el suministro.

Los depósitos municipales, se encuentran actualmente al 75 por ciento de su capacidad, y Lucena recibe del  manantial de Zambra una tercera parte del agua que necesita, mientras que el resto, informaban, se compra a Emproacsa. Actualmente, según María de la O Redondo, Lucena recibe un bombero de 12 horas diarias.

Con respecto al Parque Europa los responsables políticos explicaban que el pozo con el que cuenta el recinto ha recuperado el caudal por lo que la mayor parte del agua que necesita para el mantenimiento de los jardines  procede  de este recurso.
