Lucena instala en el Auditorio el planetario móvil más grande de España

La estructura, procedente del Centro Extremeño de Tecnologías Avanzadas, se ha instalado en el interior del edificio municipal y se completará con la observación astronómica con telescopios

El alcalde de Lucena, Juan Pérez, y el concejal de Cultura, Manuel Lara, acompañados por miembros de la Corporación municipal, han visitado el planetario móvil más grande de España, instalado en el interior del Auditorio Municipal, y por el que se espera que puedan pasar alrededor de 5.000 personas, según las estimaciones hechas por la Delegación de Cultura organizadora de esta actividad dentro del programa “En tu barrio y en el mío” con cargo a los Presupuestos Participativos.

El planetario, procedente del Centro Extremeño de Tecnologías Avanzadas (CETA-CIEMAT) en Trujillo, cuenta con una cúpula inflable de 12 metros de diámetro y 9 metros de altura lo que permite acoger en su interior hasta 40 personas. Gracias a esta estructura se logra una sensación envolvente que consigue despertar la curiosidad e interés del espectador y, lo más importante, que comprendan y compartan la necesidad del desarrollo científico para nuestra sociedad. Cada proyección tendrá una duración de 30 minutos.

En un pase dirigido por el astrónomo Antonio Becerra, el planetario cumplirá en Lucena su objetivo de “divulgar los valores científicos y promover la difusión de la investigación en el ámbito educativo, cultural e institucional” mediante una estructura moderna que permite la proyección full-dome de diferentes documentales, adaptados al público asistente.

Igualmente, los viernes y sábados (de 19:30 a 23:00 horas) se podrá disfrutar de una observación astronómica con telescopios de las principales estrellas, constelaciones y planetas. Los pases, que se realizarán en el patio del Auditorio Municipal, serán de cinco minutos.

Los precios de ambas iniciativas son de un euro cada una ellas. Los interesados pueden elegir el pase y adquirir las entradas en la página web www.lucenaentradas.es. El 7 de diciembre estará cerrado al público.

En los pases matinales, en torno a 3.000 niños y niñas visitarán el planetario durante las semanas que va a permanecer instalado. Esta actividad se realiza con Presupuestos Participativos y con la colaboración del Centro Extremeño de Tecnologías Avanzadas (CETA-CIEMAT). En principio, el planetario estará instalado en Lucena hasta el 14 de diciembre, aunque desde Cultura de avanza que ya se han iniciado los contactos para ver la posibilidad de ampliar la estancia durante las fiestas de Navidad.

HORARIOS PLANETARIO

  • Lunes a jueves, de 16:30 a 19:00 horas (última proyección a las 18:30 horas).
  • Viernes, de 17:00 a 23:00 horas (última proyección a las 22:30 horas).
  • Sábado, de 11:00 a 14:00 horas y de 17:00 a 23:00 horas (última proyección a las 13:30 y a las 22:30 horas).
  • Domingo y festivos, de 11:00 a 14:00 horas y de 17:00 a 20:00 horas (última proyección a las 13:30 y a las 19:30 horas).
