La Policía Local interviene un centenar de cajas de frutas que se vendían sin licencia junto al Mercadillo

La Policía Local de Lucena ha intervenido 55 cajas de cerezas, 46 manojos de espárragos y diferentes mallas de ajos tras detectar en la vía pública a varios individuos vendiendo sin autorización y sin factura que justificara la procedencia de la mercancía, durante una intervención policial que supuso además la detención de otros individuos por consumo de sustancias estupefacientes.

Los hechos ocurrieron el pasado miércoles 14 de junio  cuando una patrulla de paisano de la Policía Local descubrió en las inmediaciones del Mercadillo a varios individuos vendiendo, junto a los puestos con licencia municipal, diferentes productos hortofrutícolas sin los permisos correspondientes. Según informa la Delegación de Seguridad Ciudadana, esta actuación policial forma parte de la campaña de control de las ventas ambulantes en base a lo establecido en las ordenanzas municipales.

La mercancía incautada por los agentes policiales ha sido destruida siguiendo las instrucciones de las autoridades sanitarias al no poder acreditar el origen de los productos y no poder descartarse que hayan sido objeto de alguna manipulación.
