Satse denuncia que la Unidad de Cuidados Paliativos del Hospital Infanta Margarita carece de personal

El Sindicato Profesional de la Enfermería SATSE-Córdoba ha denunciado que, desde el pasado  día 1 de febrero, la Unidad de cuidados Paliativos del área de Gestión Sanitara Córdoba Sur, ubicada en el Hospital Infanta Margarita, carece de personal Facultativo y desde el día 3 de febrero permanece cerrada, sin enfermera ni médico.

Desde SATSE lamentan la poca sensibilidad que desde la Dirección se tiene en general con las sustituciones de los profesionales y el mantenimiento de la cartera de servicio, explicando el Sindicato de Enfermería que si la Dirección cierra un servicio tan esencial como es el de los Cuidados Paliativos, dirigido a un tipo de paciente muy frágil (pacientes oncológicos), podemos entender la actitud y nula respuesta ante otras necesidades tanto del Hospital como de los centros de salud.

SATSE ha tenido conocimiento de que la profesional facultativo que venía prestando servicios en la Unidad de Cuidados Paliativos desde hace 8 años ha renunciado a continuar en esta unidad el 31 de enero  al no estar de acuerdo con lo ofertado para continuar, asegurando SATSE que las duras condiciones laborales y la inseguridad del contrato han sido determinantes para renunciar a su puesto de trabajo. Por su parte, el profesional de Enfermería que desarrolla su actividad profesional en este servicio se encuentra de permiso reglamentario y no está sustituido.

El Sindicato de Enfermería se ha personado en varias ocasiones en la consulta de Cuidados Paliativos durante estos días, escuchando en el interior de la consulta llamadas de presuntos pacientes que al menos desde el día 3 no han encontrado respuesta a sus necesidades. Por ello, ha solicitado por escrito y con registro de entrada un documento exigiendo la apertura inmediata de esta unidad, así como su dimensionamiento y ampliación, para que los profesionales que trabajan en esta unidad encuentren las condiciones adecuadas de trabajo que les permita fidelizarse en el área sanitaria, y que por tanto los pacientes encuentren siempre respuesta a sus necesidades, incrementando la franja horaria de atención al paciente,

SATSE ya ha denunciado en reiteradas ocasiones que el Área de Gestión Sanitaria Córdoba Sur, que atiende a una población de más de 250.000 habitantes, debe de disponer de tres equipos de Cuidados Paliativos, ubicándose al menos dos en el Hospital Infanta Margarita y el tercero en el Hospital de Montilla.
