800 euros en premios, bolsa de corredor y regalos para los participantes en la IV Carrera de Subida al Santuario

El próximo 13 de octubre finaliza el plazo de inscripción de la IV Carrera de Subida al Santuario de María Santísima de Araceli y Ruta Senderista que contará con más de 800 euros en premios, bolsa de corredor, avituallamiento y sorteo de regalos tras la entrega de galardones. Esta cuarta edición arrancará desde la Plaza Nueva, el próximo 24 de octubre, con el mismo recorrido de ediciones anteriores. Así, los corredores iniciarán los 10 kilómetros de carrera a las 10:30 mientras que los senderistas iniciaran la subida a las 10:00 de la mañana con un recorrido de 7 kilómetros.

Entrega de dorsales y bolsa de corredor

La entrega de dorsales será en la Casa de la Virgen el sábado 23 de octubre de 12:00 a 14:00 hrs. y de 19h a 21h para los corredores y senderistas de Lucena. Los participantes que vengan de fuera de la localidad podrán recogerlos el día de la prueba a las 9 de la mañana. En la bolsa de corredor este año se entregará el dorsal, la camiseta de la carrera, tomates, picos de pan o vale descuento de ropa infantil. Al llegar a la meta, todos los participantes recibirán un bocadillo, aceite de oliva, fruta, dulce y agua.

Reconocimiento a una vida en carrera

Posteriormente a la carrera, en la caseta municipal, y antes de iniciar la entrega de trofeos, la Real Archicofradía de María Santísima de Araceli y el CD SURCO realizarán un homenaje a 5 atletas lucentinos que han dedicado su vida y su tiempo de ocio a correr y difundir la práctica de este deporte. En esta edición serán reconocidos Antonio Jiménez Casado, Manuel Lara Buendía, Juan López Santaella, Antonio Moreno Budia y Juan Manjón Cabeza Fernández.

Entrega de premios y sorteos

Finalmente, este año por las medidas del COVID, la entrega de premios, el sorteo de regalos y la paella de convivencia se celebrará en la Caseta Municipal.
