El cardenal Carlos Amigo inaugurará los actos con motivo del cierre del Año Jubilar de la Misericordia en el Real Santuario de Aras

El cierre del año Jubilar de la Misericordia en el Real Santuario de María Santísima de Araceli, templo jubilar perpetuo, contará con un programa de actividades religiosas en torno a la Patrona de Lucena. Será el cardenal, arzobispo emérito de Sevilla, Carlos Amigo Vallejo, quien inicie los actos con una eucaristía a las 12:30 horas de la mañana del sábado 12 de noviembre.

Aunque el besamanos se celebrará los días 12 y 13 desde 8:30 horas hasta las 21:30 horas, las actividades programadas por la Junta de Gobierno permitirá a los devotos y fieles acompañar a la Virgen de Araceli durante más de 36 horas puesto que a las 22:00 horas del sábado comenzará una Vigilia Eucarística Mariana organizada conjuntamente con la Adoración Nocturna de Lucena (ANE-ANFE).

La vigilia comenzará con la celebración de Vísperas y Misa y la Exposición del Santísimo Sacramento que terminará con el rezo del Santo Rosario y los turnos de vela para los que se invita a quien lo desee a unirse a alguno de los turnos que se sucederán durante toda la noche. Una vez concluida la Vigilia, a las 7:00 horas del domingo se celebrarán Laudes y la procesión del Santísimo Sacramento por el entorno del Real Santuario.

Cuando den las 8:30 horas se reanudará el besamanos a María Santísima de Araceli que sólo será interrumpido a las 11:00 horas por el rezo del Santo Rosario y la misa dominical. Siguiendo las recomendaciones de Policía Local y Guardia Civil, la carretera de la Sierra permanecerá cortada desde la Primera Cruz entre las 10 de la mañana y las 3 de la tarde, y entre las 5 y las 8 de la tarde, horas en las que se prevé una mayor afluencia de público. Por ello, desde el Recinto Ferial y el Puente de San Juan saldrán autobuses cada media hora para subir al Santuario.
