La subdelegada del Gobierno entrega diplomas de agradecimiento a Polícia Local y voluntarios de Protección Civil de Lucena

La subdelegada del Gobierno, Rafaela Valenzuela, ha entregado este miércoles sendos diplomas de mención especial de agradecimiento al Cuerpo de la Policía Local del Ayuntamiento de Lucena y la Agrupación local de voluntarios de Protección Civil de la localidad reconociendo su labor y compromiso en la lucha contra la COVID-19.

Durante el estado de alarma estas entidades han llevado a cabo diversas actividades fundamentales para el resto de la ciudadanía, muchas de ellas de gran importancia en los primeros meses de la pandemia, como llevar comida o materiales de primera necesidad a las personas que estaban confinadas, reparto de mascarillas y material desinfectante o información a la gente sobre las medidas de seguridad, entre otras, en el caso de los voluntarios de Protección Civil. Por parte de la Policía Local, la salvaguarda de la nueva normativa necesaria para combatir la pandemia ha supuesto un reto que ha afrontado de manera sobresaliente.

Rafaela Valenzuela ha querido “destacar y agradecer el papel de las fuerzas y cuerpos de seguridad y de todos los que de alguna manera tienen un papel importante en un momento tan complejo como es el estado de alarma”.

Programa de Fomento de Empleo Agrario

Tras la entrega de diplomas, acto que ha tenido lugar en el Paseo de Rojas,  la subdelegada acompañada del alcalde de Lucena, Juan Pérez, ha visitado algunas de las obras que se han llevado a cabo en 2020 en el municipio gracias al Programa de Fomento de Empleo Agrario, que gestiona el SEPE. Han sido un total de diez actuaciones con un presupuesto total de 1.654.305 euros en las que han trabajado 603 trabajadores y que han supuesto 9.870 jornales.
