Un curso de mediadores sociales ayudará a prevenir el consumo de drogas

La delegación municipal de Servicios Sociales organiza el VII Curso de Mediadores Sociales en la Prevención de Drogodependencias.

Se impartirá los lunes de los meses de octubre, noviembre y diciembre. Comenzará el día 24 de este mes y finalizará el 12 de diciembre. El horario será de cinco a ocho de la tarde en el Centro Municipal de Servicios Sociales. La concejal delega de Servicios Sociales, Teresa Alonso indicaba que está dirigido a representantes de asociaciones vecinales, asociaciones juveniles, AMPAS, y en general a cualquier persona interesada en la prevención de las drogodependencias.  A la finalización del curso se entregará certificado acreditativo oficial expedido por el Ayuntamiento en una visita al a comunidad terapéutico Vado de los Bueyes de la Fundación EMET Arco Iris.

El técnico en drogodependencias de la delegación municipal de Servicios Sociales,  Mario Flores, explicaba el programa teórico. En este sentido, se abordará la situación actual del consumo de drogas y el análisis histórico del fenómeno, conceptos básicos en drogodependencias, o el papel del mediador social entre otros aspectos. Las inscripciones se pueden tramitar hasta el 21 de octubre en la delegación de  Servicios Sociales ubicada en la calle Vendimia.
