La Asociación Cultural Bet Alfasi firma un acuerdo de hermanamiento con la Asociazione Romana Amici D´Israele

Francisco Carrasco Guijarro, presidente de la asociación Lucena Bet Alfasi, suscribió el pasado 11 de Noviembre de 2020 un pacto de hermanamiento con la Associazione Romana Amici d’Israele de Italia. Alberto Tancredi, presidente de la citada asociación italiana, fue quien actuó como firmante por la parte italiana.

La Associazione Romana Amici d’Israele cuenta con más de 45 importantes miembros en Roma y se dedica al estudio, investigación y difusión de la cultura judía en Italia. Dicha cultura hebrea se remonta a tiempos de los macabeos cuando los judíos acudieron en busca de la ayuda romana ante la persecución que estaban sufriendo por los griegos.

Esta vocación de conocimiento, investigación y difusión del pasado de la asociación italiana es compartida por la asociación lucentina Lucena Bet Alfasi en relación al pasado de Eliossana; ésa es la razón por la que ambas asociaciones han procedido a su hermanamiento.

En el acto protocolario de la firma participaron representantes diplomáticos de las embajadas de Israel y España en Italia que expresaron su voluntad de apoyar el proyecto y las iniciativas que nacerán a parir de la firma de este acuerdo. El mismo se encargará de coordinar a ambas asociaciones para el desarrollo de proyectos de colaboración en forma de actividades conjuntas relacionadas con el ámbito cultural sefardí, la cultura judía de Italia, la cultura israelí y la cultura y realidad del pueblo judío en su conjunto. Para ello contarán con el apoyo de las embajadas de Israel en Italia y España así como con el importante soporte de la doctora doña Victoria Mesistrano, prestigiosa arqueóloga y antropóloga israelí.

Entre los eventos que se planean llevar a cabo se podrán realizar muestras itinerantes de un país al otro, exposiciones, conferencias (vía telemática y presenciales), viajes a Israel, visitas a campos alemanes de exterminio como forma de recuerdo de la Shoá, celebración conjunta de festividades judías y difusión de la tradición e historia judías.

El primer evento programado (que viene a celebrar la firma del acuerdo) se llevará a cabo el próximo jueves 19 de noviembre a las 18:00 h. y en el que, a través de las redes sociales, intervendrá el doctor Adolfo Roitman, director del Museo de los Rollos del Mar Muerto de Israel, quien pronunciará una conferencia sobre los rollos del Mar Muerto.

Tras la misma el presidente de la asociación Lucena Bet Alfasi, Francisco Carrasco Guijarro, hará una introducción de la historia de la antigua Eliossana y hablará sobre los rollos de la Geniza de El Cairo, entre cuyos documentos se encuentra una valiosa información sobre la Lucena de los siglos XI al XIII.
