Araceli Campillos se alza con el Premio Especial para Jóvenes del Festival de Cante de Las Minas

La joven cantaora lucentina Araceli Campillos se ha alzado con el premio especial para jóvenes cantaores del prestigioso Festival Internacional de Cante de las Minas en la Unión. Campillos estuvo acompañada al toque por Luis Ruiz García “Calderito”.  Este  reconocimiento, está  dotado con 3.000€, y  supone un espaldarazo a esta joven y prometedora artista en su carrera. El máximo galardón del certamen, “La lámpara minera” recaía en la cantaora ‘María José Carrasco’ (Los Palacios y Villafranca -Sevilla-, 1974) al imponerse en el primer premio de mineras.

Carrasco constataba en la Catedral del Cante su avalada experiencia en el mundo flamenco, y consiguiendo un total de 21.000 euros. Aparte del máximo galardón del certamen, el jurado también otorgaba el premio Desplante de baile y 6.000 euros al bailaor Hugo López Luque, de Córdoba, mientras que el segundo premio de esta categoría, dotado con 3.000 euros, lo ha logrado el bailaor malagueño Adrián Santana Núñez.

Además, y por primera vez, este año se ha desdoblado el premio al baile en categorías masculina y femenina, alzándose con el Desplante en este último apartado, y dotado con otros 6.000 euros, la bailaora Mónica Iglesias García también de Málaga. Otro de los premios entregados fue  el Bordón, dotado con 6.000 euros, que ha recaía en Agustín Carbonell Serrano ‘El Bola’ (Barcelona), mientras que el segundo premio en esta categoría, que conllevaba una cantidad de 3.000 euros, iba a parar al cordobés  Luis Medina Blanco.

En cuanto al galardón del Filón al mejor instrumentista, recaía  en el pianista Andrés Barrios Navarro  de Sevilla, quien obtuvo  6.000 euros, el doble del que recibía  el pianista cordobés  Juan Antonio Sánchez de la Torre, segundo clasificado en esta categoría. Tras quedar desierto el año pasado, el premio especial al Cantaor Joven recaía en la lucentina  en Araceli Campillos Muñoz por una cartagenera, y María del Carmen González Vento  de Huelva, por una murciana y levantica.
