El delegado de Educación asiste al acto por el 60 aniversario del colegio Nuestra Señora de Araceli de Lucena

El delegado de Educación, Antonio José López, ha destacado en el sesenta  aniversario del Colegio Público de Infantil y Primaria Nuestra Señora de Araceli de Lucena la trayectoria de un centro que “hace escuela” y en el que destacan distintas iniciativas pedagógicas de interés, como la práctica del ABN en matemáticas, las ciencias en educación infantil,  el desarrollo de trabajo por proyectos, las prácticas de trabajo colaborativo, el fomento de la lectura a través de programas que implican a las familias, el fomento de la escritura a través del blog bilingüe, entre otras.

El delegado de Educación ha señalado que a lo largo de estas seis décadas el centro ha pasado por varias etapas en las que siempre ha habido tres elementos comunes, y  son “un equipo directivo, un claustro y una Asociación de Madres y Padres comprometidos con una educación de calidad”, la cual se evidencia “en todos los planes y proyectos en los que este centro se embarca, a través de unos docentes bien formados y actualizados, y en el papel que las familias desarrollan con su presencia y colaboración desde la AMPA”.

Asimismo, el portal de buenas prácticas de la Consejería de Educación ha reconocido uno de sus proyectos en comunicación lingüística por lo que el delegado de Educación ha aprovechado también para trasladar en persona su enhorabuena y su apoyo para que continúen en esa misma línea.

El delegado de Educación ha querido destacar también que para el próximo curso está previsto poner en marcha en este centro un servicio de comedor escolar y de aula matinal, una vez que el Ayuntamiento de de Lucena adecue el edificio que albergará estos servicios. El comedor se dará servicio a 100 usuarios, mientras que con el aula matinal a 60, lo que “ayudará a que las familias puedan conciliar la vida laboral y personal”.Actualmente, el CEIP Nuestra Señora de Araceli es un centro bilingüe, con más de 700 alumnos y alumnas, 41 docentes, además de una orientadora y un auxiliar bilingüe, y con un Proyecto Educativo consolidado que se abre a la innovación pedagógica sin perder sus raíces.
