El PP considera un error el préstamo bancario solicitado por la EPEL

El PP considera que el préstamo bancario de dos millones de euros solicitado en su día la entidad pública empresarial local Aparcamientos Municipales de Lucena (EPEL), entidad creada para gestionar el aparcamiento público subterráneo construido por el Ayuntamiento de Lucena en la Plaza Nueva, podría haber supuesto un ahorro de hasta 100.000 euros de haberse gestionado a tiempo los intereses generados. El edil de los populares Julián Ranchal mantiene que desde el inicio de la presente legislatura su grupo ha defendido una refinanciación del citado préstamo al considerar excesivos los intereses derivados de esta operación, una advertencia a la que según Ranchal el equipo de gobierno ha hecho caso omiso.

Ha habido que esperar, según el concejal del PP a finales del pasado año para poner en práctica una refinanciación que se ha solventado con celeridad por parte de la entidad bancaria y cuando la cantidad adeudada se situaba en un millón seiscientos mil euros lo que ha supuesto un ahorro de 50.000 euros. Para el PP se trata de un ejemplo más de la falta de diligencia del gobierno municipal.
