Dentro de los días grandes del barrio más barrio de Lucena, el sábado 26 de julio, ha tenido lugar la procesión de Santiago Apóstol por las calles del viejo arrabal donde la mole de piedra antigua del templo jacobino preside el llanete que lleva el nombre del apóstol patrón de España.
Días de fiesta en el barrio, días de verbena, alegría y noches largas del estío que se hacen más llevaderas en el viejo llanete tan castizo y que en la tarde-noche del sábado último de julio se viste de gala y tradición.
