La edil de Urbanismo, Charo Valverde, informaba de que el equipo de gobierno baraja la derogación total del Plan General y la redacción de un nuevo PGOU por una empresa externa
La concejal delegada de Urbanismo del Ayuntamiento de Lucena, Charo Valverde, anunciaba que como prioridad del equipo de gobierno se pretende retomar la modificación del PGOU, ya anunciada por la anterior corporación, para permitir la actividad comercial en la totalidad de un edificio ubicado en el centro histórico.
Según Valverde, el objetivo es iniciar el cambio y adaptar la normativa, para permitir la implantación en Lucena de firmas que han solicitado poder ocupar algunos de los edificios ubicados en las calles principales.
La edil de Urbanismo, también recordó que el Plan General de Ordenación Urbana está actualmente obsoleto, “ya que cuando se redactó en 1999 Lucena tenía otras prioridades, y ahora las nuevas industrias necesitan más espacio”.
En este sentido, se pretende derogar el actual PGOU y encargar a una empresa externa la redacción de uno nuevo. Ahora mismo, dijo, sólo se están realizando modificaciones puntuales a dicho plan.
