EL dinero servirá para financiar parte de la restauración del claustro del convento de los Reverendos Padres Franciscanos
La asociación Mujeres en Igualdad ha hecho entrega de los 5.500 euros recaudados durante la celebración del rastrillo solidario al Padre Antonio Herrera. Este dinero se destinará a financiar parte de las obras de restauración del claustro del convento de los Reverendos Padres Franciscanos.
La presidenta de Mujeres en Igualdad, Teresa Ruiz Canela, agradecía a las personas que han donado objetos y a aquellas que los han adquirido pudiendo recaudar una importante cantidad que se destinará a mejorar el patrimonio cultural de Lucena.
El Padre Antonio Herrera, agradecía a Mujeres en Igualdad esta iniciativa que ayudará para reconstruir el claustro del convento, anunciando que en poco tiempo se iniciarán las obras, de las que se informará con mayor precisión tras la Semana Santa.
El padre guardián del convento, indicaba que actualmente se está estudiando la situación que presenta el claustro aunque habrá que sustituir todos los bajantes de agua que son los que provocan los daños.
