El certamen ha repartido premios por un total de 2.500 euros divididos en cuatro categorías. Han concurrido un total de 45 trabajos.
El Palacio de Los Condes de Santa Ana acogía la entrega de los galardones de la V edición del Concurso Recíclate, una iniciativa impulsada por el Ayuntamiento de Lucena desde el año 2020 con el objetivo de concienciar a la ciudadanía sobre la reutilización de residuos a través de la creatividad artística.
En esta quinta edición, el concurso ha contado con la participación de 45 obras en sus cuatro categorías en función de la edad de las personas participantes: infantil (hasta 12 años), juvenil (de 13 a 18 años), adulta (de 19 a 65 años) y senior (más de 65 años). Los primeros premios están dotados de 400 euros y los segundos de 300 euros en todas las categorías, excepto en la categoría infantil, dotada con 300 y 100 euros, respectivamente.
De menor a mayor, en la categoría infantil recibieron su premio Javier Algaba Ruiz e Inmaculada Molina Ruiz con “Colorín el pez globo” y Pedro Trujillo Bujalance con “Sistema Solar”. En la categoría juvenil, el trabajo mejor valorado por el jurado fue “El guardián de chatarra”, de Raquel Alcalá Hernández, seguido por “Efecto mariposa” del grupo educativo Convivencia El Carmen (Almería).
En la categoría adulta, recibía el primer premio Estefanía Romero Dartois, por “Energía renovable”, mientras que el segundo premio era otorgado a “Pasar por el aro” de Samuel José Escobar Delgado, destinándose una mención especial a “El ave del deshecho” de Carlos José Villodres Reding. Por último, en la categoría sénior, el primer premio fue para Juan José Fuentes García por su obra “Recuerdos de mi infancia” y el segundo premio para María José Calvillo García con “El bolso perfecto y sostenible”.
Todas las obras participantes están expuestas en la primera planta del Palacio Condes de Santa Ana hasta el 9 de marzo. Además, como viene siendo habitual y con el fin de ampliar la difusión y el impacto de la iniciativa, se publicará un catálogo con las obras premiadas, permitiendo documentar y visibilizar el mensaje central del concurso: cualquier residuo puede tener una segunda vida.
