En una mañana gris y lluviosa, tras la maravillosa procesión magna del sábado, 27 de septiembre, María Santísima de Araceli subía a su Real Santuario.
En un principio iba a ser portada por los hermanos y devotos, pero ante las inclemencias del tiempo se optó por la plataforma en la cual debía ser entronizada a partir de la Puerta de la Mina, pero en esta ocasión desde la salida de San Mateo.
Pese a las inclemencias del tiempo, Lucena acompañó y despidió a su Patrona que, este año, con motivo de la procesión magna “Lucena vive la Pasión” nos ha regalado su presencia en San Mateo durante una semana más en este mes de septiembre.
Volverás por primavera con sombrero y tirabuzones para traernos la primavera y el mayo florido desde lo alto del monte de Aras.
