Los lucentinos Ángel Delgado, Lucas Carmona y Jesús Delgado forman parte del equipo junior de la Peña Ciclista Egabrense

Con una plantilla compuesta por corredores de toda Andalucía se presentaba el equipo ciclista Team Grupo Serman de Cabra. Arropados por ex profesionales del ciclismo, autoridades, muchos familiares y amigos el equipo junior de la Peña Ciclista Egabrense, su director deportivo Joaquín León anunció el calendario para esta temporada en la que volverán a competir en todas las pruebas del calendario andaluz y en las mejores carreras de España. Además, Cabra será la anfitriona de la Challenge Ciclista a la Subbética que este año se disputa en el mes de septiembre.

La llegada y el apoyo del ex profesional José Antonio López Gil, padrino del equipo esta temporada, y su grupo de empresas durante los dos próximos años de patrocinio permitirá una gran tranquilidad a la escuadra andaluza. Al principal patrocinador también se unen empresas como LawBird y la cadena Hoteles Helios, además de la continuidad de empresas como Franco Furniture y Ciclos Castillo, que hacen posible este proyecto junto con el apoyo del Ayuntamiento de Cabra y la Diputación Provincial de Córdoba. Precisamente, el club ciclista de Cabra aprovechó el acto de presentación de su equipo para entregar el escudo de oro de la Peña Ciclista Egabrense a Juanjo Franco, gerente de la empresa lucentina Franco Furniture por su continuo apoyo al equipo durante los últimos años. 

Finalmente, la plantilla del Team Grupo Serman estará compuesta por diecinueve ciclistas juniors: Alejandro Espejo (Cabra); Ángel Delgado (Lucena); Juanito Martínez (Córdoba); Carlos Arce (Montilla); Juan Sánchez (Benamejí); Víctor Díaz (Córdoba); Carlos Arce (Montilla); Antonio Baena (Aguilar de la Frontera); Alberto Gallego (Baena); Manu Peñas (Granada); Abel Carmona (Otura); Cosmo Derangi (Órgiva – UK); Fran Álvarez (Almuñécar); Javier Zarzuela (Marbella); Javier Ternero (Málaga); Alberto Carvajal (Humilladero); Adrián Valladares (Pilas); Javier Galeto (Alcalá de Guadaira) y Manu Fernández (Escañuela). Al equipo también se unen los ciclistas cadetes: Lucas Carmona y Jesús Delgado, ambos de Lucena.
