Aguas de Lucena lleva a cabo la limpieza preventiva de la red de imbornales

Los operarios de la empresa municipal trabajarán durante las próximas semanas durante las noches para no interrumpir el tráfico y tránsito peatonal diurno

 Aguas de Lucena acomete desde esta pasada noche una campaña extraordinaria de trabajos de limpieza preventiva en la red municipal de imbornales a fin de evitar las incidencias que puedan surgir por las lluvias durante los próximos meses.

La consejera delegada de la empresa municipal, María de la O Redondo, ha anunciado que estos trabajos se prolongarán, al menos durante las tres próximas semanas y se llevarán a cabo por todo el núcleo urbano, siempre en horario nocturno, a partir de la medianoche, a efectos de reducir las molestias en el tráfico de vehículos y el tránsito peatonal por calles y plazas.

Igualmente, la concejala lucentina ha confirmado que “se ha visto necesario acometer un programa extraordinario de limpieza, dado el estado de suciedad y colmatación que presentaban los imbornales y las alcantarillas, demostrado como queda que la campaña que se viene realizando entrada la primavera no es suficiente para asegurar que ahora, en teoría en los meses de mayores precipitaciones, la red esté al máximo de su capacidad hidráulica”.

Aguas de Lucena acomete esta limpieza con recursos de personal y técnicos propios como parte de la estrategia, impulsada por el Ayuntamiento de Lucena, de mejora y adecentamiento de los espacios públicos de la ciudad porque “no se trata sólo de preparar a la ciudad para que los episodios de fuertes lluvias no hagan daño, sino también de cuidar el aspecto de las infraestructuras municipales”.
