Sabor a España cuenta con una red de más de 60 tiendas repartidas por todo el país
La Fundación San Telmo celebró en su sede de Málaga la XXVIII edición de los Premios Familia-Empresa, una cita clave para reconocer el papel de las empresas familiares en el tejido económico del sur de España. El evento está organizado por la Cátedra BBVA de Empresa Familiar de San Telmo Business School y cuenta con el respaldo de BBVA.
Durante el acto, se entregaron 12 galardones a familias empresarias de Andalucía, Extremadura, Ceuta y Melilla, seleccionadas por su capacidad para integrar valores familiares con un sólido rendimiento empresarial. Entre los criterios de evaluación se encuentra la innovación, la internacionalización, la continuidad generacional y la creación de riqueza social.
El presidente de la Cátedra, Juan Cano Ruano, resaltó la longevidad y solidez del modelo de empresa familiar, aludiendo a estudios que muestran una media de vida superior a los 60 años en este tipo de compañías, frente a los diez años en otras formas societarias. Cano agradeció el respaldo constante de BBVA y destacó que estas empresas generan más del 80 % del empleo y del PIB en España.
Asunción Álvarez Puerta, directora regional sur de BBVA, señaló la especial relevancia de estos premios en el reconocimiento de la trayectoria y los valores de las empresas familiares. También destacaba la voluntad de la entidad de acompañar a las familias empresarias como aliada en su transformación y crecimiento sostenible.
Con respecto a Sabor a España, en el acto de reconocimiento se hizo referencia al trabajo de la Familia Ramírez Muñoz, con una red de más de 60 tiendas de turrones, repartidas por toda España y también en Portugal, con la intención de abrir nuevos negocios en otros países europeos. El premio lo recogió Francisco Ramírez Muñoz, Director General de Sabor a España.
Los Premios Familia-Empresa de la Cátedra BBVA de Empresa Familiar de San Telmo Business School se han consolidado como un referente en la promoción de la cultura empresarial basada en la tradición, la sostenibilidad y el compromiso social, valores esenciales para el crecimiento económico del sur de España.
