Se celebrará en la Plaza de Las Tendillas del 30 de enero al 2 de febrero con 44 puntos de venta y numerosas acciones de promoción y puesta en valor
La Diputación provincial acogía la presentación de la segunda edición del Festival Córdoba Virgen Extra, una iniciativa que se desarrollará del 30 de enero al 2 de febrero en la Plaza de las Tendillas de la capital cordobesa.
En relación con esta propuesta, el delegado de Desarrollo Económico, Promoción y Empleo de la institución provincial, Félix Romero, ha señalado que “nos encontramos ante el primer evento de 2025 de la marca ‘Sabor a Córdoba’ y lo hacemos de la mano de uno de los productos estrella de nuestra gastronomía, de la mano de nuestros aceites de oliva virgen extra (AOVE)”.
Esta iniciativa, según Romero, se consolida en nuestro calendario, como un ejemplo de la importancia de la colaboración público-privada. En torno a este producto se volverán a reunir las DOP de Lucena, Baena, Priego, Montoro y Adamuz, Iprodeco, el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba junto con ACORA, AEMO y QV Extra.
“En su II edición, este Festival nos convierte en la provincia del AOVE de calidad, y lo hace, una vez más, dando la mano al consumidor. La institución provincial se convierte así en el puente que une el producto con el consumidor”, informaba Romero.
El también presidente de Iprodeco anunciaba que “serán 44 los puntos de venta de este II Festival Córdoba Virgen Extra, en el que también habrá una extracción de aceite en directo, catas dirigidas, una ruta gastronómica y una zona de showcooking”.
Según el delegado de Desarrollo Económico, Promoción y Empleo, el aceite de oliva virgen extra es un producto que supone más de 1.000 millones de euros para la economía de la provincia, por lo que centramos todos nuestros esfuerzos para convertir este encuentro en todo un éxito y superar las 30.000 visitas que se registraron en su primera edición.
