La exposición podrá visitarse del 6 de septiembre al 5 de octubre en la Sala Azul de la Casa de los Mora.
La Delegación de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Lucena ha presentado la exposición “Delirio de Verano” del artista mexicano Erick Alcántara en la Sala Azul de la Casa de los Mora y se enmarca en el programa de apoyo a la creación contemporánea que este espacio municipal viene desarrollando con el apoyo de la Fundación Rafael Botí en colaboración con la Asociación Borococo.
Durante la presentación, el concejal de Cultura, Francisco Barbancho, destacó el valor de esta nueva propuesta como “un paso más en la consolidación de la Sala Azul como espacio de referencia para las artes plásticas en nuestra ciudad”, agradeciendo a la Asociación Borococo su labor continuada de comisariado y al artista invitado “su aportación de color, nostalgia y reflexión a través de una obra que conecta lo cotidiano con lo universal”.
El artista Erick Alcántara, nacido en México y afincado en Huelva, explicó que “Delirio de Verano” está concebida como “un catálogo de color, exploración y memoria”, en el que los personajes de dibujos animados y juguetes de la infancia sirven de punto de partida para reflexionar sobre cuestiones propias de la vida adulta. “Me interesa cómo lo tierno o lo cuqui puede transformarse en un lenguaje pictórico que nos devuelve a la inocencia, pero también nos enfrenta a temas de mayor complejidad”, señaló.
En el acto también estuvieron presentes Cisco Espinar y Jorge Torres, en representación de la Asociación Borococo, quienes subrayaron la importancia de ofrecer a artistas emergentes un espacio de visibilidad en Lucena, destacando la diversidad de propuestas que se han acogido en la Sala Azul desde su apertura. Ambos invitaron al público a visitar la exposición y disfrutar de “una auténtica explosión de color y referencias culturales” que permanecerá abierta hasta el próximo 5 de octubre.
