La muestra permanecerá en la sala noble del palacio barroco lucentino hasta el próximo 20 de abril
La artista jiennense afincada en Las Navas del Selpillar, Pepa Cano, expone su obra “Horizontes Creativos” en la sala noble del Palacio de los Condes de Santa Ana.
El concejal delegado de Cultura, Francisco Barbancho, explicaba que con este trabajo, “la artista intenta reinventar y reinventarse redibujando su arte para el deleite de los sentidos”.
Cano, indicaba que se trata de mostrar la dualidad entre principio y final a través de líneas imaginarias que generan un límite real. El horizonte, explicó, es un recurso visual eterno que nos lleva a territorios como la Sierra de Aras, Las Navas del Selpillar, la Vía Verde del Aceite o atardeceres de playa.
El comisario de la exposición, Antonio Sánchez, destacaba la importancia de los pueblos como lugares para el desarrollo de la cultura. Pepa Cano, explicó nos muestra dos series, una con corbatas recicladas y la otra con cuero.
En concreto, la obra de Cano cobra vida a partir de una base circular, sustituyendo la pintura por pieles curtidas de color, junto con corbatas de seda que representan la artesanía tradicional y artística, integrándose de manera magistral en el arte contemporáneo.
Esta exposición es el fruto de la dedicación y la investigación constante de la autora, fusionando diseño y arte para concebir obras creativas y significativas.
