Gracias al programa educativo “Todos Olímpicos” que promueve el Comité Olímpico Español junto a la Consejería de Turismo y Deporte de la Junta de Andalucía, el Colegio Público Al-Yussana ha recibido al deportista de élite Gonzalo García Ferrero, palista sevillano que ha sido Subcampeón el Mundo de Remo de Mar 2024.
Gonzalo García ha realizado una presentación didáctica y audiovisual de como difundir los valores del deporte haciendo un recorrido fascinante por los diferentes aspectos del Movimiento Olímpico Español. Además, este joven deportista ha querido que los más pequeños conozcan su trayectoria en el mundo del remo, una disciplina deportiva que se remonta al siglo XVII.
Otro de los momentos que más han llamado la atención al alumnado del colegio Al-Yussana ha sido cuando el palista español ha dejado claro que “los sueños de poder llegar a la élite del Deporte se pueden cumplir, pero siempre con mucho esfuerzo y dedicación” apuntó García Ferrero. Precisamente, este deportista de 25 años, se entrena a diario en el río Guadalquivir de su Sevilla natal, pensando en conseguir su gran objetivo, poder disputar unos Juegos Olímpicos.
