El CD Ciudad de Lucena fue incapaz de sumar algo positivo en su salida a Coria del Río. La necesidad de puntuar para ambos equipos fue el reflejo de un partido de escasa calidad que se resolvió con un solitario gol de penalti. En su adaptación a un terreno de juego bastante irregular, los corianos plantearon mejor un partido donde hubo muy pocas situaciones de peligro.
En una de sus contadas aproximaciones al área, el Coria tuvo la oportunidad de adelantarse en el marcador gracias a un penalti cometido sobre Álex Durán que recibió una patada de Iván Vela. De esta manera, en el minuto 29, el veterano delantero Domingo Jarana transformó la pena máxima engañando en su lanzamiento al guardameta Benito del Valle.
Justo después de este contratiempo, el Ciudad de Lucena respondió en ataque con un centro de Hugo Fuentes que remató a la primera Álvaro Cascajo. Este fue el único remate del cuadro lucentino en todo el primer tiempo.
Ya en el segundo acto, más de lo mismo, inoperancia ofensiva de los chicos que dirige Antonio Jesús Cobos frente a un rival que, en ningún momento fue sometido y pasó grandes apuros para administrar su escasa renta en el marcador. Una falta ejecutada por Sergio Rivera, en el minuto 90, la detuvo en dos tiempos el portero coriano. Fue lo único destacable del conjunto lucentino en todo el segundo periodo. Pobre balance para un equipo que quiere aspirar a todo.
Como dato significativo, últimamente, el Ciudad de Lucena está mostrando una cara diferente cuando juega a domicilio ya que, de los últimos 6 partidos como visitante sólo ha ganado 1 partido (Inter Sevilla); el resto, dos empates sin goles en Ceuta y Espiel, y tres derrotas frente a Utrera, Atlético Central y Coria. En resumen, fuera de casa, el equipo lucentino ha sumado sólo 5 puntos de los últimos 18 posibles.
En la 22ª jornada de liga en el Grupo X de Tercera Federación, el Ciudad de Lucena recibirá en su estadio a la UD Tomares, un encuentro que se jugará el próximo domingo a las cinco y media de la tarde.
